SoCal surfers are still in shock from what was the best 48 hours of south swell in at least 20 years, maybe even best ever? Hurricane Marie images from Orange County to Santa Barbara show the waves of a lifetime at every spot. Sure, in typical California Style the hyped up swell was crowded everywhere, but there was plenty of surf to go around and no one was complaining. Now the videos of the sessions are popping up after a day passed to let the videographers edit the footage. Let’s take a look at a few of the best videos from Hurricane Marie Swell.

Newport Point

Newps definitely delivered the goods and soaked up every bit of Hurricane Marie swell. Check outthese vids of Newport Point as good as it can ever be.

Malibu’s coastline loved the SSE angle on Hurricane Marie’s swell. Everyone from Kelly Slater to Laird Hamilton was on it. But that didn’t stop at least 200 other surfers from paddling out.

Santa Barbara

While Santa Barbara usually is shadowed from all south swell activity, the rare 165 degree SSE angle of the swell allowed sets to make it all the way to State Street.
