There’s no better way to spread the spooky spirit of Halloween than by wearing an awesome costume. Whether scary or funny, wearing a Halloween costume each year is a harmless way to show your humorous side and break out of your shell, even if it’s just for one day. Check out these guys and gals who take it one step further and go surfing in their costumes every Halloween!
There are surfing costume contests every Halloween in Santa Monica, Newport Beach, and Coronado Beach in California where local surfers throw on a costumes over their bikinis or boardshorts and have a go at the waves. Each year the locals gather to show off their surf style and rad costumes and basically have a blast sharing and goofing around on waves in their alter egos. From super heroes, to workplace uniforms, to assorted home made costumes, the goal is to have fun and laugh at each other. Here are some images from the hilarious events.
