The powerful regular foot used her first heat to gain more knowledge about the break, and used that knowledge to score higher in her second heat. “I kind of had the place more dialed in on that heat than this morning, and it was fun,” Boelsterli stated. “I got two that lined up and hit that little inside reform and it let me go at it. It’s my first time here in Pantin and I just love it, it’s beautiful. I wasn’t really happy with my result in France so I want to go further for sure. My boards are working great and suit these waves really well so I’m having a lot of fun!” – Courtesy

Her strong results at the last two 6-Star events have allowed Demi to move up in the Top 50 on the ASP World Ranking, and another strong result in Spain could see her ranked in the Top 25 or higher! Whatever her result, it’s clear that she belongs in the upper echelon of women’s professional surfing.
