And Its a Wrap!

Sundance Beach’s 4th Annual Surf Video Contest came and passed very quickly. We had the biggest turn out ever—an unexpected 419 attendees. We couldn’t have been happier!

We want to give out a BIG thanks to so many people! Contestants, the Lobero Theatre, the community, the Dos Pueblos Surf Team, and the staff! The event couldn’t have been as big of an event without our sponsors: RVCA, Volcom, O’Neill, Billabong, Quiksilver, Hurley, Reef, Spy, and Electric. Another big thanks to our amazing judges: Jay Larsen, Matt Bovard, Josh Pomer, Jon Shafer, and Shawn Tracht.

So, you’re probably reading this to see who the winners are…Right? Ok, fine…Here they are:

Did you think another movie deserved some more recognition? Well, don’t forget that we added the Viewer’s Choice Award! The videos were posted this morning on Sundance Beach’s Facebook! Make sure you “Like” Sundance Beach and “Like” the videos of your choice! You can only vote, or “Like,” each video once, but feel free to like multiple videos! The contest ends on Sunday (March 13th), so make sure you get your friends to vote as well! Click here to see the videos again!

Update: We had a meeting to recap the event! We already are starting to plan next year’s event! If you think this year’s screening was great…Just wait until next year 🙂

Wondering where the photos are?! They will be uploaded to Sundance Beach’s Facebook tomorrow! Don’t forget to check them out, I know everybody is anxious to see them (including myself)!

So the winners were announced. Prizes were given. Raffle prizes were thrown. Tents were taken down. Preston and myself killed it on stage. And that’s that! It’s a wrap, everybody! The bar was set high by our 10 finalists for next year. Congratulations again to all of our winners!
